Music Contest
Das European Elvis Festival ist ohne den Music Contest gar nicht mehr denkbar! Auch 2024 suchen wir – und das bereits zum neunten Mal - die besten Sänger, Sängerinnen und Bands Europas, die mit ihrer Musik eine Hommage an Elvis auf die Bühne bringen!
Egal ob Gruppen oder Einzelkünstler und -künstlerinnen, ob Rock’n’Roll, Swing, Volksmusik, Klassik oder Blues - alle können sich bewerben! Gesucht werden die besten Interpretationen von Elvis-Songs. Keine Jumpsuits - dafür aber gute Musik, guter Gesang und eine gute Show!
Eine Jury trifft die Vorauswahl unter allen Bewerbern und die Besten dürfen im Rahmen des Live-Programms beim 21. European Elvis Festival, 2023 in Bad Nauheim auftreten. Dort entscheidet das Publikum über die drei Podestplatzierungen.
Die Startplätze werden ausgelost.
Teilnahmebedingungen
- Kurze Beschreibung der Band/des Sängers/der Sängerin mit Namen, Entstehungsgeschichte, Stilrichtung
- Demo-CD mit mindestens 3 Elvis-Songs im Stil der Band/des Sängers/der Sängerin
- Das Programm für den Contest muss zu mindestens 90 % aus Elvis-Titeln bestehen und darf nicht länger als 60 Minuten sein.
- Falls eine Podestplatzierung erreicht wird, verpflichtet sich der Bewerber zu einem zweiten Auftritt am Sonntag.

Music Contest
In 2024, for the ninth time, we are looking for the best male and female singers and bands in Europe to bring a tribute to Elvis on stage with their music!
Whether groups or individual artists, whether rock'n'roll, swing, folk music, classical or blues - everyone can apply! We are looking for the best interpretations of Elvis songs. No jumpsuits - but good music, good singing and a good show!
A jury will make the pre-selection from all the applicants and the best will be allowed to perform live as part of the live programme at the 22nd European Elvis Festival 2023 in Bad Nauheim. There, the audience will decide on the three podium positions. The starting positions will be drawn by lot.
Conditions of participation
- Short description of the band/the singer with name, history, style
- Demo CD with at least 3 Elvis songs in the style of the band/the singer
- The programme for the contest must consist of at least 90 % Elvis songs and must not be longer than 60 minutes.
- If a podium finish is achieved, the applicant commits to a second performance on Sunday.

Art Contest
Wir rufen wieder alle Künstler auf, die Elvis als Thema aufgreifen und in vielfältiger Weise darstellen. Zugelassen sind alle Kunstrichtungen wie zum Beispiel Malerei, Grafik, Fotografie, Bildhauerei, Performance und Film. Ihr habt die Chance Eure Werke während des 22. European Elvis Festivals 2024 auszustellen und sie der Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren. Unter allen Ausstellern werden die besten Arbeiten während des EEF 2024 prämiert. Eine Jury und das Publikum entscheiden über die ersten drei Plätze.
Teilnahmebedingungen
- Kurze Beschreibung des Künstlers / der Künstlerin und Entstehungsgeschichte des Objekts.
- Falls das Originalwerk nicht eingesandt werden kann, ist eine aussagekräftige DVD / CD anzufertigen. Das Originalwerk muss jedoch vor Beginn des European Elvis Festivals beim Veranstalter sein.
- Das Objekt soll das Motiv „Elvis Presley“ interpretieren.

Art Contest and Exhibition
We call on all artists who take up Elvis as a theme and present it in a variety of ways. All art forms such as painting, graphic art, photography, sculpture, performance and film are permitted.
In addition to the already established Elvis Art Exhibition, which takes place every year and to which we would of course like to invite all interested artists again, there is to be an Art Contest again this year.
Among all exhibitors who also want to participate in the Art Contest, the audience's favourites will be awarded prizes during the 22nd European Elvis Festival 2024 in Bad Nauheim. A jury and the audience will decide on the first three places.
Conditions of participation
- Short description of the artist and the history of the creation of the object.
- If the original work cannot be sent in, a meaningful DVD / CD must be made. However, the original work must be with the organiser before the start of the European Elvis Festival.
- The object is to interpret the motif "Elvis Presley".
- Please indicate if you would also like to participate in the Art Contest.
